--You must play on ball defense.
--If you decide to use a zone make sure you are using the defender closest to the ball.
--Do not use a zone the entire game
--you can play the passing lanes on screen plays
--You must allow the offense to cross the line before you start guarding them. If you accidentally bump them across the line for a backcourt violation or accidentally steal a pass before they cross the line give them the ball back.
--No excessive swiping at the ball.
--No backcourt charges, EVER.
--The only time you can double team a player is when they have scored at least 10 points. Until then you cannot double team.
--You may steal sideline passes at any point throughout the game unless it involves you crossing the halfcourt line in an inappropriate time. In the fourth quarter an opponent can press and steal baseline passes anytime they are down by 10 or more points. In the last two minutes of the game you can press and steal baseline passes anytime you are down.
--If you decide to use a press in the fourth quarter your opponent is allowed to fastbreak.
-- If your opponent is on a fastbreak, it is free game to switch defenders and steal a pass in the air of they chunk the ball down court.
